i can barely take it„ all the things i love wrapped up in one tiny little bow with this video for vanessa bruno featuring kate bosworth, white horses, mountains, lakes, and beautiful clothing. i was on a kayak trip the other day and my friend said “you are a little piece of country wrapped up in a fashionable bow”. that was one of the sweetest things i’ve ever been told, and nice to know when your friends really “get” you.
have a vunderbar weekend,

if you are in the area of clement street between 3rd and 4th ave, drop by seedstore. a wonderful addition to this area, sisters Jennifer and Cynthia opened it up, a modern “mercantile shop” full of interesting americana, a great selection of brands for men and women, as well as some great mid century furniture which is also for sale. I’ve pulled from this store a few times and I admit to buying at least one thing each time I visit. From a comfy pair of alternative earth sweat pants to a quoddy inspired mens boot by j shoes, to a woolrich woolen mills shirt, and now my eye is on one of the mini eames bucket chairs.

alex and ani feather bracelet, house of harlow gold and black stoned feather earrings, jbird leather and chain bracelet.

summer.. the best thing about summer is being outdoors. no argument there. with all of the summer offerings, like beach days, biking along board walks, drives to the country and of course the many many music festivals to attend we all craft our very own summer uniforms.
Some of this seasons’ tried and true: the requisite jean short, the bright patterned bikini, and the tribal patterned cover-up.

i’ve been on a grunge kick, for awhile now. its not like it ever went out of style. plaid, that is. but for some reason, lately i want to buy a pair of dock martens, and find a big bulky flannel men’s plaid shirt, wrap a belt around it and call it a day. yum.
